Bio

I am now the newest staff member after joining the staff in January 2008. I wasn’t born Florida but I got here as fast as I could. My wife, Becky, and I were born in Toledo, Ohio. We met in High School and stayed in school until we retired and moved to Florida. Becky taught kindergarten and I taught high school. We really enjoyed our careers but when the school systems told us we could retire in June 2005, we moved to Florida in July.

The majority of my teaching career involved teaching office skills to students so that they could get a job working in an office. So it is somewhat ironic that in my retirement, I am getting to use the skills I taught others to use. My primary responsibility is to maintain information in the church’s database and to provide support to the session, elders and other staff members.

Every day, I thank God for putting me in the place that I am now. I really enjoy being part of Community Presbyterian Church as a member and as part of this wonderful staff.
