Connecting with God—Prayer of Confession
Lord, in our pride we have tried to serve You in our own wisdom and knowledge, and we have refused to seek and follow Your will. Too often, we have felt the matters of our everyday lives were not important enough to “bother” You about. Forgive us, Lord, and help us to remember everything we do every day witness to others of Your Lordship in our lives. In Christ we pray. Amen.

Most loving and merciful God, in Your infinite wisdom You allow us to serve in Your kingdom in Your kingdom most effectively as we keep our focus upon Christ. We thank You, Lord, and give You our praise. In Christ we pray. Amen.
